OK, so I got lazy in the past couple of months. I was busy with work (omg, don’t get me started on work!) and I’ve been making excuses on posting on here. And besides, I didn’t think what I’ve been doing lately is particularly interesting.
And what I’ve been doing lately is buying and modeling handbags! I love pretty things of all sorts, but lately, handbags have been my thing. And not just any handbags! I’m talking premier and contemporary branded! I did a collage some time back of the handbags I’ve got (this was about a month ago! I’ve amassed quite a bit more since then)
So anyway, I’m not really in a writing mood yet, but I wanted to post some of the recent OOTDs I had with these handbags and some of the more recent clothing I’ve got, before I go back to being a Sunday slug.
And now it’s time for me to go back to watching Fashion Police. 😀
Hi everyone! I just wanted to show you guys what I meant about the so-called “natural ends” and the blunt cut ends. I also threw in the photo my Foxy Locks set for a bit of further comparison. Foxy Locks is sort of a happy medium between the super thick blunt ends from Hair Secrets and the super fine natural ends from Bellami hair.
I mentioned in my previous post that Hair Secrets is double drawn and you can see from that photo above what a difference double drawn hair makes! I am also happy to tell you that the Bellami stock that they are currently selling is now double drawn, and I so hope that this will address the straggly ends that their previous stock had.
Now the pieces I took from each set is the 4-clip piece. All of them are approximately 8 inches wide. They are also more or less equally thick at the top band. The Foxy Locks and Hair Secrets wefts have just been washed and dried, and it’s the first time i have washed both. I’m happy to say that there was very minimal hair breakage or shedding during the washing process. I was very afraid of that and I’m so happy that my fears about hair shedding during washing was largely unfounded.
The Bellami weft here hasn’t been washed since it was purchased, but now that I’m comparing it side by side with Hair Secrets and Foxy Locks, it just looks so straggly and sorry-looking, and that’s such a shame, because the hair is very pretty and very thick at the band. It also just looks so dry compared to the Foxy Locks and Hair Secrets wefts. And that’s just so weird because I would slather all of my extensions with Macadamia oil and pure Argan oil when they look or feel dry, and I have put a bit of oil on my Bellami’s when I took it out of the package. The Foxy Locks and Hair Secrets, I mixed a bit of Macadamia oil in with the conditioner when I washed them. Oh, by the way, I didn’t curl the Foxy Locks weft. The hair just dried that way, so I guess the hair came from someone with naturally curly hair 🙂
So, I hope this comparison was helpful to you, and look out for my next review soon!
Just sayin’ =^_^=
I can’t help it. I’m not just a bikini addict. I’m a shoe- and bag addict too! I usually buy my bags and shoes on the spring collection, when Pedro and Charles and Keith (my top two!) would release colorful and cheerful designs. I like my accessories with a great pop of color, because my clothes are all nude and brown and black or rose-colored. The spring collection’s all gone, and I’ve cherry-picked my favorites already, but surprisingly, this year, there are some really stellar selections from the tail-end of the summer and the start of fall collections. I don’t usually like these, because they’re boring and drab, like the colors I pick for my outfits, but this year, they’re really good.
I’ve picked up a shell-clasped handbag and a pair of stiletto sandals, but I’m still wanting for one more:
I saw this already at the store in ION, and had it in my hand already, when this lady walked in with the exact same bag. Now, I know when a bag looks good on me and this one did, but looking at how it looked on the other lady, who by the way, was wearing black trainers, looked slightly disheveled, and wore ugly ill-fitting clothes, I put the bag back on the rack and picked out another.
And now I utterly regret that decision D:
Tomorrow, I must find this bag back at the branch near my office or I’m totally going to embark on a country-wide search for it. Come on bag, I need you to come home with me!!
